The unREVoked team, responsible for creating the “painless root” APK for EVO 4G, has uncovered an alleged backdoor executable installed on Sprint Android phones including the HTC) EVO 4G and the HTC Hero. (It is not clear whether it is also found in the Samsung Moment or upcoming Motorola i1.)
